Silencer - 3D Source Noise Reduction
3D source-noise reduction via irregular tau-p transform. This new program has been in development since 1997. Early tests show great promise. Further research and development is planned, pending results from initial testing and production use. Comparisons with other new 3D shot-noise cancellation products in the market are being sought. Publications available upon request.
Solution
- Suppresses High Amplitude Noise for AVO

- Improves Statics Performance
- Reduces Artifact from DMO & Migration
- Removes Noise Imprint from Low Fold 3D Stack
3D F-X DMO
An effective 3D integral DMO method developed internally in 1995. The advent of Radon DMO caused this program to lapse out of everyday use; however, work is currently underway to modernize the program (Fortran to C++ conversion, etc.). It is a proven performer, especially for narrow-azimuth, marine-style surveys.
